Where are you from?

I grew up in Knoxville, TN.

What is the one thing about yourself that you would like people to know?

I am passionate about helping people tell their story.

Do you believe a cup is half empty or half full?

Half full!

What is something you are proud about?

My children becoming wonderful, responsible adults

What is your most treasured possession?

An 16 mm video from the 1940’s and 50’s with my great grandparents, grandparents, and parents, and me in it.

How do you spend your spare time?

I love to cook and to invite people to my table. I love hanging out with my husband. We enjoy gardening together.

What do you value about being a therapist?

Helping someone find who they were made to be is very important. I value what I have learned about myself. I use this knowledge to help others.

What do you think is important for a client to look for in a therapist?

Safety. Experience. A good listener.

How does your faith play itself out in your work as a therapist?

I ask God’s help with every client that I see.


What is your favorite music and your favorite singer/band?

I love bluegrass and music from the ’60s. I love Allison Krauss.

What is your favorite month of the year and why?

December because I love everything about Christmas.

What is your favorite movie?

Witness with Harrison Ford.
