People who don’t know they are funny, southern one-liners, and wittiness.

How do you spend your spare time?

At a coffee shop, hosting at my house, sitting on my porch, catching up with friends, walking, reading, writing, dreaming up something new, or taking a nap. I am a lover of all things “downtime.”

About your practice

What do you value about being a therapist?

For me, it is sacred ground to hear someone’s struggles and feelings, especially when a person is sharing them for the first time. It is an act of bravery to express the heart, and it is amazing to see the healing that takes place when that expression is met with another’s comfort and care.

What do you think is important for a client to look for in a therapist?

Loyalty, good boundaries, and a person who has done their own therapy.

How does your faith play itself out in your work as a therapist?

I believe that when you know the Truth, the Truth will set you free.

What is your favorite genre of movies?

Funny, sad, anything but cheesy.

Which TV show would you never miss?

Recently it has been “This Is Us.”
