Originally from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I have lived in Tennessee for 7 years including my time at Vanderbilt and my time on staff with Young Life in Memphis.
I often feel myself caught in between two extremes: the desire to grab a backpack and explore the unknown, finding pleasure in unique adventures and chance encounters alongside the contentment that comes with sitting on a porch swing lingering in the silence and safety of good company.

I worked in the snack shop of a local water park during the summer. It was about as terrible as it sounds.
